Tyranny of Benga is back with an interesting musical battle between two highly acclaimed Kenyan musicians i.e. Chris Adwar and Dan Aceda on May 31st at Alliance Francaise Nairobi. The show will feature live performances by the two musicians.
The Tyranny of Benga events have taken place since 2013 and have featured both Chris and Dan and the likes of Amileena Mwenesi and Eric Wainaina.
Dan Aceda is an award winning singer, songwriter and actor. He has three albums under his belt i.e. Suluwe, Benganology and Made in Kenya. The jams he is known for include Safari and Blackberry.
Chris Adwar is a singer, songwriter, producer and the front man for the The Villagers Band. Chris Adwar and The Villagers Band have two albums, Norfolk Hotel and Benta. His band is known for songs such as Kenchic and Be Your Fool.
