Kenya will this year host the Ladies European Tour (LED) golf event from 11th to 20th November 2016. This is the first time that the event will take place in Kenya and in the whole of East Africa. It will be at the 18 hole Vipingo Ridge golf course. The event was announced Ladies European Tour CEO Ivan Khodabakhsh at the golf course last week.

The event will be broadcasted in over 85 countries which will help sell Kenya as a golfing destination.

Vipingo Ridge’s Baobab Golf Course was designed by David Jones, a board member of the European Tour and former Kenya Open Champion. It is a 72 par course with a signature hole at the par four 16th.
