The Bloggers Association of Kenya (BAKE) has just announced the launch of the 2016 Kenyan Blog Awards. This is the 5th edition of the awards with the last one held last year attracting 1,800 submissions and 150,000 votes.
The launch coincides with the opening of the submission phase of the competition which will end on the 10th of February. The full timeline of the awards is below:
1. Submission phase – January 8th 2016 to February 10th 2016
2. Judging phase – February 11th 2016 to February 28th 2016
3. Voting phase – March 2nd 2016 to April 30th 2016.
4. Winners’ announcement – May 7th 2016
This year will see the addition of the the Best Religious/Spirituality blog category to bring the total number of categories to 19.
