Crown Beverages Limited (CBL) has been appointed as the exclusive distributor of Campari Group’s alcoholic brands in Kenya. The brands include Campari, SKYY Vodka, Wild Turkey Bourbon, Old Smuggler blended Scotch Whisky and Bulldog London Dry Gin.
As part of the agreement, Crown Beverages will not manufacture any alcoholic beverages and will maintain separate sales and ware-housing operations for the Campari portfolio.
In July 2016, Crown Beverages was fully acquired by Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) and continues to bottle and sell Keringet water. Commenting on the partnership Daryl Wilson, CCBA Kenya Managing Director, said, “We are thrilled to launch the premium portfolio of Campari Group in Kenya leveraging the distribution network previously established by Crown Beverages Limited. The Campari Group meets the promise of daring to be different and will excite consumers with their premium Brands, including Glen Grant Single Malt Whisky, Old Smuggler blended Scotch Whisky, Bulldog Gin, SKYY Vodka, and the signature Campari Aperitif.”
Campari Group was founded in 1860 and it operated in 190 markets worldwide.
