We had a few questions for him and this is what he had to say:
1. What was your first phone?
A Siemens C35. It was stolen a few months later. I hate smartphones, they’re dumb.
2. What do you prefer? Facebook or Twitter? Why?
I’m not a big fan of either, but if I had to choose, I’d say Twitter. Facebook conversations have degenerated into nonsense. All I see is funny pictures of people doing dumb stuff, and kittens. I think social media is making us dumber.
3. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I’ll be 5 years older.

Is the financial crisis in Europe ultimately going to result in the creation of a new “European superstate†dominated by Germany?
No. Germany’s dominant financial position does not give it sufficient political leverage to do so. Internally, the question as to whether Germany should “dominate” its neighbours brings up World War II memories. A tough pill to swallow for the German voter.
5. What would you do if you were president for a day?
I’d orchestrate a press conference in which all Members of Parliament would do the Gangnam style on live television.
6. What’s your favourite book & movie?
Favorite Book – Matilda, by Roald Dahl.
Favorite Movie – Fight Club.
7. Who/What inspired you to do what you do now?
I remember being very inspired by David Lachapelle. His work was always very mischievous and intelligent.
8. If you were to change jobs, what profession would you get into? Why?
I’d be a chef. I wanted to be a chef when I was a kid.
9. If you had a superpower, what would it be?
To fart glitter.
10. If you were deserted on an abandoned island what 5 things would you want to have?
5 capsules of cyanide – because I wouldn’t last one night on an abandoned island.
11. If you were a car, what car would you like to be? Why?
An old rare car, because someone would collect me and all I’d have all day is lie around looking shiny and polished.

12. If you could be in any band in the world, which one would you like to be in? Why?
Gorillaz. Why? Read their biography. Fantastic.
13. What’s the most challenging obstacle you have ever encountered as a creative ? How did you overcome it?
Stage fright. I’ve never overcome it. I just avoid stages.
14. Share something interesting about yourself with our readers.
I like apple pies. They make me happy.
