The Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) has announced that current CEO Ms. Phyllis Wakiaga will leave the organization at the end of June after 9 years with the organization.

Wakiaga joined KAM as the Head of Policy, Research and Advocacy in 2013, and later took over as CEO in 2015 from (now CS) Ms Betty Maina. Under her management, the Association has established itself as the go-to adviser to Government and other high-level entities on matters manufacturing and trade. She has implemented many critical changes and instituted deep robust structures towards the transformation of the Association, both internally and externally.

Ms Wakiaga is currently serving her notice and will officially be leaving on the 30th of June 2022. A recruitment process is underway to appoint the next Chief Executive..
