Safaricom’s mobile network is down and services such as voice, data and M-PESA are affected. This outage is significant because Safaricom has the largest market mobile telephony market share in Kenya and a lot of people are affected.
Customers are also not able to call the customer care numbers. They are however active on Social Media. Their fibre has not been affected.
According to their Twitter account, the issue is being sorted.
