Greenview Restaurant is an exquisite eatery located along Tubman Road, opposite Jamia Mall in Nairobi’s CBD. It is largely known for its fish fingers and chicken which go for about 300 shillings for a plate of each and are served with options like roast potatoes, French fries, rice or ugali. The restaurant also serves snacks and drinks but these are not sold during lunch hour unless accompanied by a meal because of space constraints.
I have tried the fish fingers and fries option at Greenview and the restaurant arguably has the best fish fingers in town. Fish fingers are made from fish fillet and the outcome after marinating then using breadcrumbs or flour and deep frying is impressive. Fish fillet is a great bet for those who dislike fish or who have had bad experiences with tilapia because of the small bones and Greenview does not disappoint on this one. Besides, the fish fingers’ serving is plentiful and it makes the price all the more worthy. Fish and chicken are white meat and this makes them great options for those who are conscious about their health and want to avoid red meat.
Green view is a great place to have social meetings with family, friends or business partners. Sitting area extends to the basement, ground floor and first floor and it ensures that there is enough space for everyone to dine comfortably. The food is well cooked and there is a variety of food and drink options for everyone. Diners can get any food options for the most part of the day and early evening. I would recommend it for anyone who wants a quality and affordable meal of fish and chicken in an exquisite restaurant in town.
