Majid Al Futtaim has launched the MyCLUB customer loyalty program across all its Carrefour supermarket stores in Kenya.
The MyCLUB program is active in several markets that the company operates and in Kenya it will be available online through the Carrefour Kenya App. It will allow customers to collect points based on their purchases at Carrefour. For every Ksh. 100 they spend, customers receive 2.5 points in return, while they also stand to gain additional points based on selected promotional items. Upon collecting 10,000 points, customers can either choose to redeem them instantly towards their bill or continue to accumulate points for a larger reward at a later time.
Customers can sign up for the program by downloading the Carrefour Kenya App free of charge from the Google Play Store and the Apple Store. Each registered customer will be provided with a unique barcode within the app, which is scanned during checkout to earn points and avail discounts. Through the App, customers will also have access to their digital receipts, regular updates, as well as information on upcoming offers.
Commenting on the introduction of MyCLUB, Franck Moreau, Country Manager of Carrefour in Kenya and Uganda at Majid Al Futtaim Retail said, “The launch of MyCLUB demonstrates our commitment to our customers in Kenya, we value their loyalty and encourage them to sign up so that they gain even more from shopping at Carrefour.”
