Kenyan photographer Jeri Muchura has been an announced as a winner in the Mo Ibrahim Foundation’s MyAfrica photography competition. She won in the professional category with Amar Baiomy (Egypt) winning in the amateur category and Phindulo Tshidzumba (Zambia) the student one.

The three will each receive a prize of USD 10,000. The competition was launched to celebrate the Foundation’s 10th Anniversary & was open to African photographers.

The finalists’ Photographs of all the finalists will be displayed at the foundation’s 10th anniversary celebration in London in October and at the Annual Governance Weekend in Marrakech in November.
