1. Your first phone?

A tiny grey Nokia that could access facebook. That’s pretty much all I remember. Lost it a month later in my youthful indiscretion days.

2. Between Facebook and Twitter, which one do you prefer? Why?

Twitter. It’s more timely and current. I might not be as active on it but I definitely keep checking my timeline to keep myself updated with the hot topics.

3. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Happily married and with two kids? Kidding but that would be nice.

Five years from now, I see myself being an internationally recognized voice in the blogging and communications industry. A voice to inspire and constantly remind people to go for what they love! A mentor and a role model to many.

4. Any question for us? We’ll publish our answer as well

The chicken or the egg?

The chicken :-). Otherwise where did the egg come from.

5. What would you do if you were president for a day?

A day is such a short time. So I’d just live in the moment. Absorb all the privileges that come with being the head of state just for a day. Oh and probably take selfies in every corner and room of statehouse. You know, for the memories to share with my grandkids.

6. What’s your favorite book & movie?

Book: Currently (And I feel bad that I had to use ‘currently’ because it should have been a favorite from way back then, and I would have evaded failing CRE), the Bible. So calming. So healing. So informative.

Movie: The Shawshank Redemption. Intriguing.

7. Who or what inspired what you do now?

Myself? Sounds corny but I was my own source of inspiration during a once difficult time in my life. I needed to give myself a genuine source of happiness and peace of mind; and for me this came through writing for my own personal my blog sharing my different experiences and love for fashion. However with time, I’ve kept at it to help celebrate and encourage women to be proud of whom they are no matter how different they look and feel. To embrace what makes each one of us different in a world that tries to make all women look and act the same.

8. If you were to change jobs, what profession would you get into? Why?

I wouldn’t necessarily say change. But I’m looking to venture into the world of corporate communications. It’s not really change since I’m already doing a lot of fashion communication currently. More like diversifying. Why? I’ve always been really passionate about all things communications which is why I’m currently pursuing my Masters degrees in Strategic Corporate Communications to get myself the necessary professional academic skills. You know what they say, go big or go home. This is just the beginning.

9. If you had a superpower, what would it be?

Teleporting. Anything to beat sitting in traffic to get from A to B.

10. Which 5 things would you want to have if you were deserted on an abandoned island?

  • My phone.

11. If you were a car, which one would you like to be? Why?

Any G wagon. Have you seen the G wagon? There’s the answer to your why.

12. If you could be in any other band in the world, which one would you like to be in? Why?

Just a Band. Hah!

13. How does one go about making money from a blog?

Its all about establishing yourself as a brand to the right target market. Once you’re able to get in touch with your market, the rest will follow. But first build on you and stick to your brand identity. That way you will have yourself a loyal fanbase / target audience.

14. Share something interesting about yourself with our readers

Low key scared of cows. If I’m driving or walking and they randomly happen to be crossing the road, I close my windows, say a little prayer and literally freeze on the road until they’re done. Catch me dead taking pictures patting a cow for the gram pretending to be about that #farmlife. Not even my family knows that about me. So that’s real first hand deep info.
