Safaricom has introduced new data bundles after what the company received a lot of feedback about the data bundles regime they introduced in February this year. The company, in a reaction to the introduction of Unliminet by competitor Airtel, introduced data bundles that had an expiry date and that had night time bundles that most customers complained that they were not using. Safaricom then did not have a choice but to rethink their data bundles offering.
Among the changes in the new data bundles offering are:
- Data bundles will no longer expire if customers buy an another bundle two days before their current one expires.
- There will no longer be night time bundles
- The daily bundles will also include free sms’s
Safaricom’s 12 million data customers will be able to access the new data bundles subscribers from tomorrow 11th July 2015.
