Samsung Electronics launched the Galaxy Z Fold6 in the Kenyan market earlier this month. It is the successor to the Galaxy Z Fold5 which was released in 2023. The Galaxy Z Fold6 is available on pre order in Kenya, and it costs Ksh 264,000.
The Galaxy Z Fold6 is powered by a Qualcomm SM8550-AC Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (4 nm) chipset, with an 8-core architecture design with one of its processors being the Cortex-X4 running at 3.39GHz. The remaining seven cores are the Cortex-A720 maxing out at 3.1GHz.
It comes with a 7.6-inch main screen with an 1856 x 2160 pixels resolution with a pixel density of approximately 374 pixels per inch. It has a 6.3 inches secondary screen with a 968 x 2376 pixels resolution and a pixel density of approximately 410 pixels per inch. It has a maximum brightness of 2600 nits’ peak brightness which allows one to view the screen with ease under any lighting conditions. It has a 120Hz display refresh rate and rocks HDR10+.
It has with a triple camera setup that is 50 Megapixel (wide), 10 Megapixel (telephoto) and 12 Megapixel (ultrawide). It comes with two selfie cameras, that is one for each screen 4 MP (wide) and 10 MP (wide).
It has 512 GB internal storage, 12 GB RAM and run on the Android 14 operating system with a One UI 6.1.1 user interface. The device features a Li-Po 4400 mAh battery and a 25W charging brick.
The Galaxy Z Fold6 is available for pre-order at authorized Samsung stores and e-commerce partners from 11th July to 31st July. Customers who pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will receive a slim S-pen case.
