Mwanaume Ni Effort (MNE) has announced that it will host the inaugural MNE Fest on May 7th at the Electric Village at Carnivore Grounds.

Mwanaume Ni Effort (MNE) is part of the Amplify Group and is an urban lifestyle brand and culture curator. MNE Fest will be an annual celebration of music, tech, and arts.

Launched in 2012, MNE began as creators of urban merchandise and digital content to what it does now – curating memorable event experiences. The entertainment outfit has brought to the entertainment scene events like Past 5 Fridays at Mercury, The Highlife, Nasty C 2018, Y2K: 2000s party, Golf & Grill at Migaa, and most recently, The Adekunle Gold concert in November 2021 and Beachlife NYE 2022 in Diani.

The main act and headliner for the festival will be Nigerian rapper and singer, Rema who captured the world’s attention at just 19 years old in 2019 and continues to do so today with his Afro Pop hits.

MNE Fest will have zones which will be as follows;

Music & Artistry: Revelers can expect a combination of mainstream music on the main stage especially Kenyan and Afrobeats and an electric village for those who love their electronic music. Lineup to include Wakadinali and Rosa and other exciting acts to be revealed on MNE’s Instagram (Watch This Space). The DJs playing will include CNG, DJ Dream, G-Money, Lordwin and Ite.

Food & Drink Zone: Guests will be taken through a Gin and Fizz experience.

Art & Fashion Zone: Brought to you by YM Life Zone, fashion from upcoming designers, art installations, and live mural paintings from the likes of Michael Soi, Mwadzame, and Bankslave will be present.

Tech Zone: There will be a Tech Lab that is an immersive technology-driven experience that will have a PlayStation challenge with cash prizes to be won, an AR/VR experience, Live podcast recording sessions, silent discos, mobile phone charging stations, and a product/service showcasing from Fintech, Apps, Crypto, and Consumer electronic companies.
