Kenya Breweries Limited, through its beer brand WhiteCap Lager, has announced its sponsorship of the Country Roads Festival.

The partnership will begin with the Country Roads event in Thika this weekend. This edition of Country Roads will take place on Saturday 28th September at Thika Greens Golf Resort.

Country Roads Festival was founded by media personality Jeff Koinange and is an event that features country music sang by various Kenyan musicians. The events are held in different locations across the country and previous editions have been held in Naivasha, Limuru, Kirinyaga among others.

The Thika Greens edition will be hosted by will be hosted by Jeff Koinange and will feature acts such as legendary country music star Sir Elvis, comedian Prof Hammo, Kidum and Kareh B.

The event will also feature a WhiteCap Brunch experience where there will be a pairing of Kenyan food and WhiteCap Lager. The brunch events were launched by the brand last year and it was recently hosted at the Kenya International Polo Tournament that was held last weekend.

Tickets to Country Roads Thika are Ksh. 2,000 in advance and Ksh. 2,500 at the gate. Advance tickets are available for purchase here mtickets.com/country-roads-in-thika. The event will start from 12pm on Saturday 28th September and will end at 5am on Sunday 29th September.

The Country Roads Festival and WhiteCap partnership will continue through the year with the next event being held in November in Nanyuki, Laikipia County.
