Britam Holdings’ half year net profit for the year ended 30th June 2018 has increased slightly by 7% to stand at Ksh. 1.4 billion as compared to Ksh. 1.3 billion in 2017.
Gross premiums and fund management fees registered an 11% increase Ksh. 13.0 billion from Ksh. 11.7 billion in 2017. Total income also increased by 15% to Ksh. 16.8 billion from Shs 14.7 billion in June 2017. The company’s asset base also increased by 14% to Ksh. 112.4 billion from Ksh. 99.0 billion in December 2017.
The board of directors did not recommend an interim dividend.
