Samsung has launched their flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 5, in the Kenyan market. The NOte 5 succeeds the Note 4 which was launched in Kenya in october 2014.
The NOte 5 is a 4G phone and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It comes with a 5.7 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED screen, Octacore processor (2.1GHz Quad + 1.5GHz Quad), 4GB RAM, 16 Megapixel camera, 32 (or 64GB) internal storage and 3000mAh battery. It has fast charging and wireless charging capabilities. Like its predecessors, it comes with a stylus (S Pen). As with the S6 Edge+, the NOte 5 has Galaxy Note5 also shoots video on 4K (Ultra HD) video and has a Live Broadcast feature. The Note 5 also has a curved back, just like the S6.
The Note 5 will retail at Ksh. 84,999. It’s available from Safaricom and comes with a free 4GB data bundle. The Note 5 is available in two colours; black and rose gold.
