The Coca-Cola Company has launched the new season of their music TV show Coke Studio Africa which will start airing this month across Africa. The new show began production in November 2018.

Coca-Cola has promised that the new season of Coke Studio Africa will be a celebration of different musical genres and cultures. The collaborations will include new and exciting music fusions; from covers to throwbacks and original compositions. The music acts and producers will be drawn from countries such as Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Nigeria

The new season of Coke Studio Africa will feature 25 talented musicians and producers from across Africa. They include Wasafi music producer, Lizer, “2 in 1” hit maker Naiboi (Kenya), Winky D (Zimbabwe), Mahlet (Ethiopia), Messias (Mozambique) and Alvin Kizz (Uganda). Returning to the show are stars such hip-hop heavyweight Khaligraph Jones (Kenya) and BET award-winner Rayvanny (Tanzania) back for a second time.

Other East African artists set to feature on the show this year include Harmonize, Nandy, Jux and Mimi Mars from Tanzania, from Uganda, we have Sheebah, Fik Fameica, King Saha and Alvin Kizz; Ethiopia will be represented by Rophnan, Abush Zeleke, Mahlet, Bisrat and Yared Negu.

You can catch the new season of Coke Studio Africa every Sunday at 8 PM on Citizen TV, KISS TV, K24 TV and ST Swahili; 10 PM on KTN and NTV and 4 PM on Switch TV Kenya. The show will also air every Monday at 11 AM on Maisha Magic East. Coke Studio Radio Hour will be air every Saturday at 2PM from 16th February on Radio Citizen, Radio Maisha, Milele FM, Nation FM and NRG Radio.

Coke Studio Africa is a music collaboration show that brings together diverse African music talent and they create Covers, Throwbacks and Original Compositions. They show also features one International musician. The last edition in 2017 featured American R&B star Trey Songz.
