Huawei has launched two new devices the Mate 9 and the exclusive Porsche Design Mate 9. The two phones were launched at an event in Germany. They are a successor to the Mate 8, that was launched last year.
The Porsche Design Mate 9 is a limited edition smartphone that was designed by Porsche and Huawei.
The new Mate 9 phones come with:
- A larger battery, 4000 mAh, with fast charging capability
- Kirin 960 processor with ARM Cortex-A73/A53 Octa-core CPU and Mali G71 Octa-core GPU
- New faster EMUI 5.0 OS by Huawei that is overlayed on top of the Android OS
At the event, Huawei also launched the Huawei Fit, a fitness watch that monitors heart rate, counts steps, tracks sleep patterns among others.
