Twitter announced on Wednesday last week that it was expanding its #HelloWorld developer tour to include Nairobi, Sydney and Berlin. The tour is aimed at engaging app developers.
The visit by Twitter in Kenya will be at the Nairobi Developer Week which will be held between April 25th and May 1st 2016. Other than the Twitter session, the developer week will also feature developer workshops, a hackathon, an investment panel, agile development training among others.
Among the speakers at the week long event include:

- Andreas Fruhen Deputy CTO, M-KOPA Solar
- Samuel Gikandi, CEO, Africa’s Talking
- Frank Tamre, CoFounder, Moringa School
The Twitter team that will be at the event include:

- Juliana Chahoud – Developer Advocate at Twitter
- Bindiya Shah – Head, Twitter Africa
