Following the announcement of Spotify’s official launch in Kenya, the streaming service has released its prices for the premium package in Kenya.
The launch makes Spotify the next major streaming service to rollout in Kenya, other international music streaming services in Kenya are Apple Music and Deezer.
Apple Music charges about Ksh. 328 (USD 2.99) for an Individual plan, Ksh. 548 (USD 4.99) for a Family plan, Ksh. 164 (USD 1.49) for a Student plan and Ksh. 3,184 (USD 29.00) for an annual individual plan.
Below are the official prices for Spotify as announced
1. Individual plan
This plan costs Ksh. 299 per month after the one month free offer period.

2. Duo plan
This plan costs Ksh. 389 per month after the one month free offer period and allows for 2 accounts.
Benefits include
- 2 Premium accounts for a couple under one roof
- Duo Mix – a playlist for two, regularly updated with music you both enjoy
- Ad-free music listening, play offline, on-demand playback
3. Family Plan
Costs Ksh 479.00/month and allows up to 6 accounts.
Benefits include
- 6 Premium accounts for family members living under one roof
- Family Mix – a playlist for your family, regularly updated with music you all enjoy
- Block explicit music
- Ad-free music listening, play offline, on-demand playback
4. Student Plan
Costs Ksh. 149 per month and allows only 1 account. This is a special discount for eligible students in university and even has prepaid options.
