Safaricom has announced that it will offer new Safaricom Home Fibre customers 50% off their bill once they sign up to the home fibre service. The company is in the middle of an expansion of its home fibre product and plans to roll it out to more homes across the country.
The offer will be available to new customers who sign up in the next two months i.e August and September 2019. All new Safaricom Home fibre customers will receive a 50 percent discount.
The Bronze package will entitle customers to a one month half-price offer while new customers on the Silver, Gold, and Diamond packages will enjoy two months at the 50 percent off.
New customers can sign up for Safaricom Home Fibre by dialing *400# from their Safaricom line and choosing Get Safaricom Home Fibre. They will then be contacted by the Safaricom team for sign up to the service.
The company is looking to extend its fibre coverage to more than 15,000 additional homes across the country over the next two months. Some of the areas to be covered include parts of Kisumu and Thika, Kizingo in Mombasa, and Kinoo, Komarock and Ruaka in Nairobi.
Safaricom Home Fibre service provides Internet via fibre to homes all over the country in Kenya. The service currently reaches more than 300,000 homes across the country, with more than 107,000 customers connected. It is available in Nairobi, Nakuru, Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret, Thika, Bungoma, Kitale, Nyeri and Nanyuki among other towns. In Nairobi, the service is available in Nyayo Estate, Imara Daima, South B, Langata Estate, Ongata Rongai, Kiambu Road, Ruaka, Runda, Parklands, Westlands, Kileleshwa, Mountain View, Kinoo and Kikuyu among other places.
Safaricom launched a new service, Safaricom Home Fibre Plus, that includes Home Fibre plus mobile calls, mobile data, and SMS in one package. All the services in the package come at a single fee. The company also announced that Safaricom Home Fibre customers will be able to access home insurance in a partnership with Jubilee Insurance.

To sign up for the service, just dial *400# and select Get Safaricom Home Fibre and follow the steps. You will get a call back from Safaricom within 24 hours.
