Base Titanium, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Australian and UK-listed Base Resources Limited, has appointed three additional members to its board of directors. The three are; investment banker John Ngumi, lawyer Desterio Oyatsi and financial market analyst Aly-Khan Satchu.

Base Titanium handles the development of the Kwale Mine at the coast.

Mr Oyatsi has been involved as an adviser with the Kwale mineral sands project since it began negotiating with the relevant Government agencies for the legal instruments and rights the project requires. He is also a member of the Resettlement & Compensation Committee which provide opportunities for economic development by employing local folks as well as procuring goods and services from local vendors.
