Sven Jochen Beckmann is the General Manager for South and Sub Saharan Africa for Intel Corporation will be visiting iHub on June 5th to talk to developers about Intel’s Software opportunities. He is the Territory Manager for South and Sub Saharan Africa for Intel Corporation responsible for the territory’s sales and marketing efforts.
He joined Intel in 2000 as a Technical Engineer and has managed several Intel businesses, including the Africa Channel, the OEM business and the MNC and Retail businesses for the region. Prior to his current role, Beckman served as Sales Manager for Intel Middle East for 2.5 years. In 2009, Beckmann was promoted and moved to Dubai where he was responsible for Intel’s sales operations in the Middle East and North Africa. In 2012 Beckmann was promoted to Territory Manager for South and Sub Saharan Africa, based out of Johannesburg.
