LOOP DFS has announced a Ksh 2.5 million restoration of the cricket pavilion at the historic Limuru Country Club.

For decades, the Limuru cricket pavilion has served as more than just a sports facility; it has been a social anchor for the region. The restoration aims to breathe new life into this central hub, providing a revived gathering space for athletes, families, and spectators.

According to Eric Muriuki, CEO of LOOP DFS, the initiative is a direct reflection of the platform’s customer-centric philosophy.

“As a lifestyle platform, we invest in the things our customers care about—the spaces where they connect, the communities they belong to, and the experiences that shape their everyday lives,” Muriuki stated. “This renovation is not just about restoring a pavilion; it is about strengthening a community hub that supports sport, wellness, and shared experiences.”

The relationship between LOOP and Limuru Country Club is deep-rooted. The club has previously served as a backdrop for major brand milestones, including the launch of the 2026 LOOP Safari Gravel Series.

This latest project is a natural extension of a partnership built on:

  • Sporting Excellence: Promoting grassroots development and professional play.
  • Wellness: Encouraging active lifestyles through world-class infrastructure.
  • Social Impact: Creating sustainable ecosystems that benefit local residents.

Peter Kinuthia, Chairman of Limuru Country Club, emphasized the emotional and functional weight of the restoration. “The pavilion has always been at the heart of our sporting and social life,” he noted. “Partnerships like this ensure that these spaces continue to serve both current and future generations.”

This new initiative is part of LOOP’s sustainability agenda  which also includes the Safari Gravel Series.
