EABL’s whiskey and culture festival, Walker Town, has announced that Afrobeats star REMA will headline the opening day of Walker Town Nairobi edition on September 28th.

The festival is designed to celebrate different whisky flavours through a blend of cultural experiences, entertainment and creative interactive spaces.

The first day will also feature a dynamic mix of talent, including Kenyan star Bien and rising British rapper Arrdee. The artist showcase for the second day will be announced in the coming week.

Tickets for the event are now available for purchase on Ticket Yetu and Ticketsasa.com. They come in regular and VIP admissions for single days, as well as all-inclusive weekend packages for both regular and VIP guests.

Fally Ipupa Last YEAR in Nairobi’s Walker Town

For the first time since its inception in 2022, the event will extend over two days, from September 28th to 29th, 2024, at Laureate Gardens, Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani. It will feature a stellar lineup of live performances from local and international artists, art exhibitions, fashion displays and other exciting experiences.

Attendees will have the chance to explore the different flavours of Johnnie Walker through exclusive tasting experiences designed to showcase the unique qualities of each whisky blend. These tastings will be paired with curated culinary delights and crafted cocktails creating a sensory journey that enhances the whisky experience.

Among the highlights of the event is an exclusive listening party hosted by Johnnie Walker Blue Label, designed to elevate the festival into a luxurious, premium experience. This will allow guests to immerse themselves in the bold flavours and rich legacy of this whisky.
