Safaricom has announced new internet packages for small to medium sized businesses. Under the new pricing structure, the telco has introduced three new options that is  Ksh. 3,999 for 3 Mbps monthly unlimited internet via Safaricom Fibre. The other options in the new package include KES 5,499 for 5 Mbps and KES 14,999 for 10 Mbps.

The 3 Mbps package is suitable for a small office of upto 10 users, the 5 Mbps can handle upto 20 users while the 10 Mbps can handle up to 30 users.

This is a bit more expensive that the Fibre to the Home which is charged at Ksh. 2,900 for 5 Mbps, Ksh. 3,999 for 10 Mbps, Ksh. 5,699 for 20 Mbps and Ksh. 11,499 for 40 Mbps.

So far the telco has connected connected close to 3,000  buildings to  it’s its proprietary fibre infrastructure and plans to have another 1,500 buildings connected by March 2020.
