HMD Global has launched the Nokia 4.2 in the Kenyan market. The phone has a compact size and edge-to-edge display with a ‘selfie-notch’. It has a thickness of 8.4mm which is slim enough for single hand use. It is also elegantly designed with glass on the front and back giving it a feeling of sturdiness and class, which is achieved thanks to its lightweight metal internal structure and satin-finish polycarbonate frame.
The Nokia 4.2 comes with a refined Qualcomm® Snapdragon 439 octa-core chipset that allows you to play your favourite games and stream movies effortlessly. It also comes with Android 9 Pie out of the box.
Commenting during the launch, Mark Misumi, HMD Global’s Business Manager East Africa said, ‘’Our first ever Nokia 4.2 has a pleasingly premium look and feel, and is designed to offer the latest smartphone innovations at a truly accessible price. With this phone, our customers can do everything a flagship smartphone can do at a relatively affordable price.’’
‘’The classy, sculpted-glass design and selfie-notch display offer beauty on the outside, and it’s not just skin-deep, as it packs in a dual-rear camera, biometric face unlock and the latest generation Qualcomm® Snapdragon chipset, all powered by the latest Android 9 Pie,’
The Nokia 4.2 is now available in two colours, Black and Pink Sand, for an estimated price of Ksh18,500. The phone is available in Dual-Sim and in 3GB/32GB RAM/ROM variant.
