Vivo Energy Kenya last week took part in the annual Kenyatta University career fair. The fair which run from 20th to 23rd February was officially opened by the Zambian High Commissioner to Kenya H.E Brenda Mutemba.

The career fair kicked off with career talks from various experts, among them the Vivo Energy Kenya Human Resources Manager, Fred Gituku. Fred gave a talk based on the career fair’s theme “sensitizing the youth on career choices and labor market demands. He specifically focused on the 5 c’s of talent that is communication, choices, competence, confidence and character. The students also got a chance to interact with him and ask questions about today’s labour market demands.

After the talk from Fred Gituku, the students got a chance to interact with a few of our staff members from distribution, marketing , HR and communications at the Vivo Energy booth where they got to learn more about the company. The recent graduates and fourth year students were particularly interested in the company’s competitive internship program and career opportunities offered.
