Keroche

With their new plant sent to be commissioned at the end of the month, Keroche breweries has embarked on a recruitment drive in a bid to boost it’s sales capacity. The brewery, ranked number two in Kenya, is set to multiply it’s production capacity ten times from 10 million litres to 100 million litres with the new production plant.

If you’ve always wanted to work for Keroche breweries in a sales capacity then this is your chance. The brewery is hoping to hire as many as twenty sales managers and five brand managers as part of their recruitment drive. They will also be looking for new distributors across the country so as to increase not only their sales but distribution network.

At the moment Keroche Breweries only has six sales managers who cover Nairobi, Central, Western and parts of Rift Valley. This leaves a big part of the country uncovered and the view is that the new sales managers will be deployed to cover areas such as as Mombasa, Bungoma, Eldoret and other regions where the brewery feels they are not actively marketing their products.

Mrs Tabitha Karanja, Keroche Breweries founder and CEO, had spoken about the new plant in an interview last year after she won the African Businesswoman of the year award. It will be a big testament to what has been a long journey for her and Keroche Breweries as they aim to build a competitive market that has been largely dominated by Diageo-owned East African Breweries Limited (EABL).
