The Bloggers Association of Kenya (BAKE) will be hosting a training session on 12 April at the Nailab, 4th Floor Bishop Magua Centre on Ngong Road. The training will be a chance for bloggers to know the opportunities they can get in regards to social media and brands.

Social media platforms such as Blogs, Twitter & Facebook are among the many platforms where consumers can freely engage with the companies whose services or products they consume. It is also on these platforms that an ever increasing number of Kenyans online discuss, critique and share their experiences about brands.

Product reviews and ratings have changed in the social media era. Social networking sites are the challenging platforms to evaluate return on investment. The same trend is being seen in Kenya as more consumers use to the internet for more than just emails.

Online media influencers need to understand Brand Managers, Sales and Marketing Managers & Media Agencies. The aim will be to work better in execution of Digital Marketing Strategies.

When it comes to sponsored content, people demand transparency from brands, bloggers and the influencers.

This training will enable Brand Managers & Media Agencies share their challenges in executing their Digital marketing Strategies. They will offer guidelines as well as tips on how Online Media influencers can engage them better as well as how bloggers can transition their blogs from a hobby to a source of revenue either from Banner Advertisements or Social Media campaigns.
