Lovers of music are in for a treat at the 50th edition of Blankets and Wine. Award winning South African group Mafikizolo and heartthrob group Mi Casa , are set to rock Nairobi on 4th and 5th January alongside Sauti Sol.

Mafikizolo; the renowned kwaito group made up of Theo Kgosinkwe and Nhlanhla Nciza are popular for hits like Khona featuring Uhuru which is still reigning airwaves across Africa.

Also on the performer’s list are Kenya’s Just a Band, ‘Teen Republic’ host and Neo-Soul artiste Anto NeoSoul, Harry Kimani, the fast rising Sarabi Band, The Villagers, Maurice Kirya and Blankets and Wine entrepreneur Muthoni the Drummer Queen, who is still releasing hit after hit off her third album.

This time round it will be a 2day festival rather than just one afternoon of good music and company.

Dubbed ‘B and W at 50′, the objective is to celebrate the golden anniversary with ’the best of the best’, as they’ve evidently pieced together a cast that has audiences excited. This time round it will be a 2-day festival rather than just one afternoon of good music and company.
