HMD Global has announced that the Nokia Earbuds Lite will be available in the Kenyan market. The buds are among Nokia’s wireless earpieces which have become popular over the past few years. Though there are other earbuds brands in the market, the Nokia Earbuds Lite has a couple of unique features that make it stand out.

First, it has a quality, high-end design. The Nokia earbuds have adopted a different design from the typical Airpods-inspired design. It is stemless with a flat surface and silicone ear tips that fit firmly and comfortably in the ears. Though the charging case and the earbuds are slightly bigger than usual, they’re not heavy. They also come in 4 colours; Polar Night, Black, Grey, Mint.

The charging case and the earbuds have LED indicators that show the battery levels. Additionally, the buds have touch-based gestures that control calls, volume, and music making them convenient for use.

It has a battery capacity of 50 mAh that can last up to 5 hours with a standby time of 150 hours. The charging case has a capacity of 600 mAh that offers up to 35 hours of battery backup. It also comes with a Types C cable but doesn’t have fast charging.

The Nokia Earbuds Lite runs on Bluetooth version 5.0 which connects with most Android and Apple devices. It also has an IPX7 certificate, which means the buds are waterproof even up to 30 minutes in 1m of water.

The 6mm drivers offer good sound quality with proper audibility that works well for both music and calls.

The earbuds are retailing at Ksh. 7,000, however Jumia are running an offer where you can get them at Ksh. 4,999.
