Smartphone brand OPPO has announced that it will launch its latest smartphone devices, the OPPO Reno5 and Reno5 F in the Kenyan market on February 22, 2021.
The launch event will be streamed live on Oppo Kenya’s YouTube page, youtube.com/2gVVIi0, on Monday 22nd February from 10.00am. Viewers will have an opportunity to win prizes that include two Reno5 devices, an OPPO smart watch and two Enco W11 wireless earphones.
The Reno5 comes with AI Mixed Portrait, the first double exposure video effect for smartphones. It also comes with AI Highlight Video, a feature which uses intelligent light detection to combine OPPO’s advanced Ultra Night Video Algorithms and Live HDR Algorithms to significantly enhance video quality in dim and backlit scenes.

The Reno5 runs on Android 11 and ColorOS 11.1 operating systems. It coms with Qualcomm SM7250 Snapdragon 765G processor, 128 GB internal storage, 8 GB RAM, Quad camera setup at the back with a 64MP main camera and a 32MP selfie camera. It also comes with 4300 mAh battery with ultra-fast 50W flash charging. According to the company, the Reno5 can charge from 0% to up to 80% within 31 minutes and up to 100% in just 48 minutes.
