Transsion Group brand company, Infinix, has announced that it will launch a range of smart TVs in the Kenyan market on 7th September 2020. The company will also launch their new flagship phone, the Infinix Zero 8, on the same date.

The company is known in this market for selling youth centric smartphones with a focus on photography but it now expanding its product portfolio.

The company plans to launch the Infinix X1 series of smart TVs in Kenya and apparently it plans to launch them in two sizes i.e. 43 inches and 32 inches. Infinix’s other TV series, the Infinix S1, was launched in Nigeria earlier in the year and it is available in two sizes i.e. 43 inches and 55 inches.

It is unclear which OS will power Infinix X1 TVs but we are guessing that they will probably come with Android TV.
