Infinix S4 launched in Kenya; available for pre-order until 22nd April

Infinix has today launched the Infinix S4 smartphone in Kenya and made it available for pre-order at Infinix Mall and in retail stores countrywide. The phone will be available in 2 variants, 32GB internal storage + 3GB RAM at Ksh. 14,999 and 64GB Internal storage + 6GB RAM at Ksh. 18,999.

Kenyan can pre-order the Infinix S4 in retail stores by paying a deposit of Ksh. 4,000 and they will get gift hamper worth Ksh. 10,000. The first 300 customers will also enjoy a Ksh. 1,000 discount and Infinix branded merchandise by ordering directly on Infinix Mall. The phone will officially be available on sale beginning 23rd April, in retail outlets countrywide.

The Infinix S4 runs on Android 9 (Pie) operating system. It also comes with a 32 megapixel AI selfie camera, triple 13MP+8MP+2MP rear cameras, 6.2 inch water drop screen, and a MT6762 processor. It also comes with a 4000Mah battery with a smart power management system. The S4 is the first Infinix to feature a waterdrop screen.

The Infinix brand is part of Transsion Holdings which includes other phone brands such as Tecno, Itel, and Spice, and after-sales service brand Carlcare. It was launched in 2013 and targets the youth. Its portfolio spans five product lines i.e. ZERO, NOTE, HOT, HOT S, and SMART. Infinix has done very well in Kenya in the entry level category with its SMART and HOT series options. The S series branched out of the HOT series to focus on selfie optimization.
