Songa, a music streaming service by Safaricom and Radio Africa Group, has lowered its cost of its platform to just Ksh. 5 a day (Ksh. 150 a month).

The service previously cost Ksh. 25 daily which translated to a weekly cost of Ksh. 150 and a monthly cost of Ksh. 499.

When they launched in February 2018 the service claimed to have a database of over 2 million songs from over 400,000 musicians. The music acts apparently included Sauti Sol, Mercy Masika, Nyashinski, and Eric Wainana, and international sensations Wizkid, Camila Cabello, Usher, Chris Brown, Beyonce and Davido among others.

Songa is available by dialing *812# from your Safaricom line or by downloading the app from the Google Playstore here.
