HMD Global has launched the Nokia 2.1 in the Kenyan market. The smartphone is available at a retail price of Ksh. 11,500.

As with other Nokia phones, the phone comes with the latest Android operating system (Android Oreo) as part of the Android One program by Google. It is powered by Qualcomm™ Snapdragon 425 processor, 5 Megapixel selfie camera, 8 Megapixel back camera, 5.5-inch HD touchscreen, and dual front-facing stereo speakers. It also comes with a 4,000mAh battery which HMD claims can go 2 days without the need for a recharge.
