Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) have partnered on an initiative to assist promote manufacturing SMEs in East Africa by scaling up their business operations.

The initiative is called Creating Perspectives: Business for Development and will provide business know-how and technical expertise through individual coaching, training and tailor-made partnerships with German industries.

The pilot phase targets 60 companies in the EAC region, who have been active for a minimum of 3 years and have an annual turnover of USD 50,000 to USD 5 million, with at least 10 employees.

Applications to the initiative will be open for a period of 3 weeks, starting Monday, 13th August 2018. Companies that qualify from all East Africa can apply. Here is the application link; kglserver.net/giz.
