Infinix has launched the first Android One phone in Africa, the Infinix Hot 2, in Kenya. The Hot 2 was launched in conjunction with Google under their Android one program. The Hot 2 is also available in Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Egypt, and Morocco.

The Google’s Android One program seeks to provide affordable smartphones with premium specs that will receive OS updates directly from Google when they become available.

The Hot 2 is a dual SIM phone which comes runs on Android 5.1. It comes with a 5 inch (1280 x 720 pixels) touchscreen, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, 1.3GHz Quad-Core Processor, 8 Megapixel back camera, 2 Megapixel front camera and a 2200 mAH removable battery.
