The nomination phase of the OLX SOMA Awards 2015 is now open. This was announced at a launch event last night at the Serena Hotel in Nairobi Norfolk Hotel. The SOMA awards, which is in its third year, recognizes Kenyan companies and individuals who use social media positively to impact lives.

The theme for this year’s competition is Social Media for Economic Empowerment. SOMA has 6 broad categories namely Social Network, Social Corporate , Geovernment, Media, Educational Institutions and Best Use of Social Media which then have specific sub-categories under them.
