Microsoft has launched Lumia 530 in Kenya which will available at all Orange and authorised dealer shops for Kshs 10,999. This is set to provide the perfect balance between the latest generation smartphone features and user experience at an affordable price.

The Lumia 530 runs on Windows Phone 8.1 and will be available in both single SIM 3G and Dual SIM 3G variants. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, has 4-inch LCD display and comes with popular apps such as Instagram, WhatsApp, Viber and WeChat, Skype, Asphalt 8 and many others.

With camera’s a big part of the smartphone users experience, the Lumia 530 is packed with a 5MP camera that offers the great quality -a trademark of all Lumia phones- with signature Lumia apps such as Creative Studio and Glam Me. Users will also enjoy 4GB on-board memory that is expandable with SD cards up to 128GB and 512MB RAM. Plus, an additional 15GB of free cloud storage on Microsoft OneDrive so users can sync, store, access and share files between Lumia 530 and computers, laptops and tablets.

With 1430mAh battery capacity, the Lumia 530 offers up to 22hours standby and 13 hours 2G talktime.

The Lumia 530 comes in a range of colours including bright orange, bright green and stylish neutrals such as dark grey and white, along with a selection of changeable shells in a variety of colours.
