Anita Nderu is a curious, caring, passionate lady. A thrill seeker who loves to try new things, a dreamer who dreams of travelling all over the world, a foodie who looks to cook and bake, a shoeholic on the road to destruction. She is a news anchor and reporter at Capital Fm. A youth mentor, Stylist, Emcee, and TV presenter.
We had a few questions for her, and this is what she had to say:
1. What was your first phone?
The Ericsson that looked like an advanced landline, and had a really small screen and detachable areal
2. What do you prefer? Facebook or Twitter? Why?
I actually like both equally! Twitter cause I get to say alot often and I find people are more interactive there. And facebook because I get to say alot without word limitations and share many photos at once.
3. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
God willing a better, wealthier, more driven, wiser woman and God willing a wife and mother.

Do you know anyone personally who has won Bonyeza na Safaricom?
Sadly no. But we are very willing to get to know them now 🙂
5. What would you do if you were president for a day?
Start a project that will see homes built that second as a polytechnics to house all the abandoned, runaways and homeless people on the street so that they get of the streets and make something of themselves.
6. What’s your favourite book& movie?
My favourite books had to be the Harry Potter sequel, Paulo Caelo books and Jackie Collins books. Movie 2012!
7. Who/What inspired you to do what you do now?
Sizwe Dholomo and Namtero Mdee
8. If you were to change jobs, what profession would you get into? Why?
I really don’t know what else I would wan’t to do, but I’d love a job that involves a lot of travelling.
9. If you had a superpower, what would it be?
To make everyone happy
10. If you were deserted on an abandoned island what 5 things would you want to have?
Clean drinking water, decent shelter, Drake, My phone with endless charge and internet access,
11. If you were a car, what car would you like to be? Why?
An Audi! It’s a brand with such beautiful cars, that take your breath away when they pass by. Why? Because it is a car that speaks volumes without even saying a word. Amazing inside and out
12. If you could be in any other band in the world, which one would you like to be in? Why?
The script. Just so I’m forever surrounded by those lovely accents and good looks
13. What’s the weirdest comment someone has ever made about your voice? What’s your comment on it
That it sounds too sexual. I still don’t know what he meant by it
