Kenya might be getting a local twitter trend soon. Twitter seems to be test driving a local twitter trend for Kenya and some Kenyan twitter users have seen glimpses of it (Which can be viewed below). I confirmed that the trends are local by checking the trending topics against trendsmap’s local trending topics and they sort of match.
Kenya will be the third country in Africa, after Nigeria and South Africa, to get tailored local trends.
