The Royal Air Maroc (RAM), Morocco’s national airline, has today launched direct flights to and from Kenya. The airline will fly twice weekly from Casablanca to Nairobi (and vice versa). The inaugural flight landed earlier today. Kenya is the 33rd African destination for the airline and the first in East Africa.
This is the first time that there has been direct flights between Morocco and Kenya. Kenyans travelling to countries in North Africa and Europe can also use the airline to connect to those
destinations.
Previously, Kenyans travelling to Morocco had to take long connecting flights sometimes through the Middle East.
