The Sony World Photography Awards, a photography competition, together with Sony Middle East and Africa last week launched a competition to discover Kenya’s best photographer. Dubbed the Kenya National Award, the competition is open to photographers of all abilities from across Kenya. This special award offers an amazing opportunity for budding photographers to have their work seen globally and be recognised alongside the world’s leading photographers at the 2014 Sony World Photography Awards.
How to enter
Entries into the competition are free via www.worldphoto.org and photographers can enter one of ten categories in the open competition.

The competition will close on 6th January 2014.

The winner of the Kenya National Award will be chosen from entries to the Open competition of the 2014 Sony Word Photography Awards taken by Kenyan nationals and will be be announced on 18th March 2014.

Rules
1. The Kenya National Award competition is open to photographers entering the Open categories of the 2014 Sony World Photography Awards.
2. Once you enter the Open competition you will not be able to enter the Youth or Professional competition.
3. To be considered for the competition, you must be a Kenyan national.
