Wanjiru Kihusa, Founder and Director of Still A Mum, has taken up a new role as the Community Relations Manager for India Subcontinent, Middle East and Africa (ISMEA) region for the UPS Foundation.

Still A Mum is a a non-profit organization that supports women and families dealing with pregnancy and infant loss. It was founded by Wanjiru Kihusa in 2015 with a mission of lowering child deaths and supporting bereaved parents. The organization has so far supported thousands of men and women in Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa. In 2018, the organization was among 14 that were selected from Kenya to become part of the Facebook Community Leadership Program. The aim of the program was to empower leaders who are building communities around the world.

Wanjiru has over a decade of experience in designing and executing social impact programs and community outreach projects across Africa and the UAE. She has successfully championed change and driven social responsibility, sustainability, human rights and digital literacy initiatives.

The UPS Foundation focuses on improving the well-being of people and communities by tapping into partnerships and innovative expertise to deliver health and humanitarian solutions for underserved and impacted communities.
