Total Kenya has launched the new Hi-Perf for Motor Bikes in Kenya. The motorcycle market is a key driver of lubricant consumption in the country.
The new lubricant apparently help extend the life of the motorcycle engine, gearbox, and clutch. It contains phosphorous anti-wear additives that helps minimize wear & tear due to metal-to-metal contact.
The Motorcycle Assemblers Association of Kenya (MAAK) estimates that there are 4.8 million motorcycles in Kenya, 600,000 of which are commercial ones. This is the market that Total wants to tap in.
“We are delighted to launch Hi-Perf lubricant into the market. This will supplement the existing Total Kenya lubricants as we strive to bring innovative solutions that cater for all your engine oil needs,” said Total Kenya Lubricant Sales Manager Oliver Biyogo.
