Maisha Microfinance Bank is now officially open for business. The bank received its operational license from Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) on 26 June 2016 thereby becoming the 13th Microfinance bank in Kenya.
The bank is targeting salaried individuals and SMEs to grow its customer base. It will offer loans of between Ksh. 10,000 & Ksh. 350,000 plus micro insurance products.
The bank’s first branch is located at Chester House Building on Koinange Street. The bank will be led by the CEO, Ireneus Gichana and the following will serve as board members.
