The 5th edition of the Kenyan Blog awards aka the BAKE Awards was held at the Radisson Blu Nairobi. The event attracted over five hundred guests saw various bloggers feted for their contribution in the Kenyan blogosphere. This year had 19 categories after the addition of the Best Religious/Spirituality blog category. The African dresscode for the event was adhered to by most of the attendees but there always that one person who shows up in a T-shirt and jeans to such an event.
The awards are organized by the Bloggers Association of Kenya. The sponsors this year were Safaricom, Xpose, EatOut, Samsung, Cocacola, Intel, Kenya Bankers Association, Uber and Metta.
